What Is a Mount Boost in World of Warcraft?
Quick answerMounts are the most visible collectibles in World of Warcraft. Most are account-wide, so one mount shows up on every character, and the rare ones signal hours of farming, a difficult kill or a season that is already over. Their sources differ a lot: low-chance boss drops, rare creatures on timers, renown levels plus a currency cost, gold vendors and meta-achievements.
A WoW mount boost picks the right source for the mount you want and repeats it on your character until the mount drops or unlocks. You keep the mount and everything else the runs give.
Mount Services by Source
| Mount | How it is earned | Time |
|---|---|---|
| Ashes of Belo'ren from Mythic | The final boss of March on Quel'Danas on Mythic, with a coordinated 25-player team | Next scheduled Mythic run |
| Hexflame Reaver farm | A chance drop from Ral'kala, the rare hunted through prey-hunt cycles | Depends on drop luck |
| Violet-Backed Skyfang | Renown 19 with Zul'jarra's Forces plus 8,000 Voidlight Marl | Depends on current renown and speed |
| Sporebearer Fungal Strider | A Harandar vendor mount that carries a mailbox and a repair vendor, with an auctioneer as an option | Depends on delivery method |
| WoW Indigo Coiled Horror Mount Boost | Renown 17 with Zul'jarra's Forces plus 6,000 Voidlight Marl | Depends on current renown and speed |
| WoW Ruby Writhe Mount Boost | A low-chance drop from rare creatures on the Coiled Isle | Depends on drop luck |

| WoW Preyhunter's Courser Mount Boost | 2,250 Remnant of Anguish spent at Construct V'anore in Silvermoon | Depends on currency left |
The rest of the catalog covers earlier rides, among them Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren, Alunira, the Cyan Glowmite, the Shale Ramolith, the Void-Scarred mounts and the Ny'alothan Shadow Worm.
Drop Mounts vs. Guaranteed Mounts
Drop mounts such as the Hexflame Reaver, Ruby Writhe and The Writhing Brood depend on luck. You cannot predict the kill that drops them, so the order runs as many attempts as it takes, and the time column says "depends on drop luck" for a reason.
Guaranteed mounts follow a fixed path: reach a renown level, collect a currency or meet a rating. The Skyfang, Coiled Horror and Preyhunter's Courser belong here, and the faster speed tiers shorten them. Faster tiers cost more.
Seasonal and Achievement Mounts
Some mounts are tied to a season and disappear when it ends: the Mythic raid mount, the Gladiator mount of rated PvP and the Mythic+ score rewards. Order those early in the season. Mounts from Glory metas and other meta-achievements stay available, and the WoW achievement boost section lists them with their full criteria. Collectors who want every Season 2 mount in one plan can use the seasonal mounts bundle.
How Mount Orders Run
After payment the highest-rated booster takes the order, usually within 15 minutes, and you follow every attempt in the order chat. Piloted and Remote Control work on every mount; the Mythic raid mount and the Preyhunter's Courser also offer Self Play. The Sporebearer can be delivered as gold for you to buy it yourself, or turnkey on your character.
