What Is Alterac Valley Reputation in WoW Forever?

Alterac Valley reputation is your standing with the side you fight for in the big snow battleground north of Hillsbrad. Alliance players earn it with the Stormpike Guard dwarves of Dun Baldar. Horde players earn it with the Frostwolf Clan orcs of Frostwolf Keep.

This bar has nothing to do with honor or your PvP rank. It only climbs inside the valley, or when you hand in marks. Classic Plus runs four battlegrounds, and this is the biggest of them. The others are Warsong Gulch, Arathi Basin and the new Darkspear Islands. People chase Exalted here for one reason above all: the Stormpike Battle Charger and the Frostwolf Howler sit at the end of it.

How the Booster Raises Your Stormpike or Frostwolf Standing

The booster queues your character and plays for the objectives that feed the bar, not for a kill count. Towers burned, the enemy captain down and the general killed all add standing. A long match with lots of objectives pays far better than a quick loss at the bridge.

You also walk out of every game with Marks of Honor, 3 after a win and 1 after a loss. Marks swap for standing in WoW Forever, which is why even a bad evening moves you forward. The order ends on the rank you set, never on a number of wins.

The time follows that ladder and your realm's queues. Your booster writes the estimate for your span into the order chat before queueing the first game.

When Your Alterac Valley Carry Starts

The carry can be bought today. Ordered on its own, it kicks off roughly seven days past November 4. Inside one of our leveling orders, valley reputation can begin on launch day. After payment we assign the best-rated booster of your faction, usually within 15 minutes, and the order chat opens.

Do I need Exalted for the battle mount?

The Stormpike Battle Charger and the Frostwolf Howler both need Exalted with your valley faction, so set the slider to the top rank if the mount is the goal.
