AION 2 rift pet hunting fills the part of your collection that spawns on enemy ground. Your booster takes the Spacetime Rift across, collects souls there and brings between 1 and 40 of those pets to the target you set. A batch of 10 at level 3 is normally done in 4 to 6 days, and work begins at the next open rift.

Pick your Faction first: Elyos hunt in Altgard, Asmodians hunt in Verteron. Faction does not change the price. Then choose Target per pet (Unlock, Level 2 or Level 3) and move the Pets slider from 1 to 40.

The target matters most, since Level 3 needs far more souls than an unlock. The pet count comes second. AION 2 rift pet hunting runs Piloted, Remote Control or Self Play.

What Is a Spacetime Rift Pet in AION 2?

A Spacetime Rift pet in AION 2 is a pet whose monster appears only on the opposing faction's continent, so its souls drop only after you cross over. A rift is a timed portal linking Verteron and Altgard. The first one of the day appears at 02:00 server time, then another every 3 hours, and each portal lets level 45 players through for 10 minutes. The trip itself lasts an hour.

The Global client holds about 40 of these pets for each side. Skip the rift trips and they stay missing from your list for good. The Genus board they belong to loses their Insight too.

Unlock is the fastest route to a bigger collection count. Level 3 pays twice the Insight of a bare unlock, which is why Genus-minded buyers tend to take it.

How Long the Rift Hunt Takes

A rift hour usually unlocks 3 to 5 pets. Level 3 is slower, because 105 souls is 21 unlocks' worth, and a single pet may need two or three trips. Plan 4 to 6 days for 10 pets at level 3 and around three weeks for the complete enemy-side set.

Pets with monsters near the rift exits go first. That way most of the order lands early, and the awkward spawns close it out. Good to know: the same trips can include the enemy region's Sealed Dungeons, so ask about enemy sealed dungeon clears when you order.
