Before We Start

• A level 67 or higher character for Normal, level 80 for Heroic, on MoP Classic
• An active game subscription

A WotLK Nexus boost clears the Blue Dragonflight's fortress in Coldarra, ending at the prison of Keristrasza. Normal has 4 bosses, Heroic adds a fifth, and the order takes about 2–3 hours. You set the start time in the order chat.

The card has no settings to adjust. After payment, write in the order chat which mode you want, Normal for a leveling character or Heroic for a level 80, and add any achievement you want done on the way.

Your character is played Piloted or by Remote Control. The Heroic clear is the larger of the two orders.

What Is the Nexus in WotLK?

The Nexus is the first dungeon most Northrend players meet in the Borean Tundra. It sits in Coldarra, a frozen fortress wrapped in magical rings where Malygos and the Blue Dragonflight drain arcane energy from the world. The run ends with Keristrasza, a red dragon held prisoner and corrupted inside the fortress.

On MoP Classic realms the Nexus is still part of the Wrath leveling route, and its Heroic version is a quick source of level 80 gear and achievements. It also leads the story straight into the Oculus above it.

Bosses Included in the Nexus Carry

Boss	Normal	Heroic
Grand Magus Telestra	Yes	Yes
Anomalus	Yes	Yes
Ormorok the Tree-Shaper	Yes	Yes
Commander Stoutbeard or Commander Kolurg	No	Yes
Keristrasza	Yes	Yes

The Heroic commander depends on your faction: Horde groups face the dwarf Stoutbeard, Alliance groups the orc Kolurg. Heroic also holds achievements like Chaos Theory, where Anomalus has to die without any Chaotic Rift being destroyed.

Buy the Nexus Boost: Time and Start

A normal clear is quick; the full order, with group setup and a Heroic run, takes about 2–3 hours. You choose a slot in the order chat, and the order goes to the highest-rated booster who is free then. Progress, questions and the closing screenshot all go through that chat. Piloted and Remote Control are the two ways this Coldarra carry is played.

Normal opens from level 67, which makes the Nexus one of the earliest Northrend dungeons a character can enter, while Heroic waits until level 80. For experience and quest rewards, Normal is enough. For the Heroic achievement and stronger loot, go for the Heroic order straight away, since a level 80 character gets little from the Normal version.

Next Dungeons in Northrend

The Azjol-Nerub boost is another short dungeon from the same part of the leveling route, and the Drak'Tharon Keep carry continues into Grizzly Hills. For a harder Heroic with better rewards, the Utgarde Pinnacle run is a good pick. All instance boosting for this version is collected on the MoP Classic raids and dungeons page.

FAQ

When can my Nexus run begin?

At the slot you pick in the order chat. Booster assignment happens shortly after payment, so the run can usually be played the same day.

How long does the Nexus boost take?

About 2–3 hours for the full order. A Normal clear on a leveling character is on the shorter end.

Which faction commander will I fight on Heroic?

Horde characters face Commander Stoutbeard, Alliance characters face Commander Kolurg. Both are part of the Heroic order.

What makes the order bigger?

Heroic is the larger order, since it adds a fifth boss and harder mechanics. Extra achievements on top of the clear also add time.
