What a WoW Forever Pre-Raid Gear Boost Covers
A WoW Forever pre-raid gear boost, or Classic Plus pre-raid gear carry, fills the pre-raid slots on your level 60 character with items from the level 60 dungeons and crafting. It comes in two scopes:
- Raid-ready pre-raid set. A solid dungeon or crafted piece in every slot, with no quest greens left. The set a character needs to pull its weight in its first raid.
- Full pre-raid BiS. The best item available outside raids for every slot, so only raid loot can replace it.
We build the list for the one spec you name and mark every slot by source: dungeon drop or crafted. Slots you already own come off the list, so a character three slots short gets a three-slot order. The priority — which slots first — is agreed with you before the first run, and the Classic Plus pre-raid gear list does not change during the order unless you ask for it.
Why Pre-Raid BiS Matters Before December 9
World of Warcraft: Forever launches on November 4, 2026, and its raids unlock five weeks later. That gap is the pre-raid window. Everyone who reaches 60 in November heads for the same few dungeons for the same few pieces, and every group that forms rolls against itself for them.
Raid groups notice. A healer in quest greens runs out of mana before the boss does, and a tank in greens does not survive the first pull for long. When a raid leader fills the last seats, the character with a full pre-raid BiS set gets the invite. That matters most in the first weeks, when every guild is forming its roster at once.
Pre-raid pieces also last. Raid loot comes a few items per boss and rarely for the slot you wanted first, so dungeon gear holds most of your slots for weeks after the first raid. And because World of Warcraft: Forever has no seasonal resets and no character wipes, nothing you farm now is taken away later. It simply stays on the character until something better replaces it.
Where WoW Forever Pre-Raid Gear Comes From
| Source | What it gives | How we cover it |
| Shaper’s Terrace (58–60) | Dungeon drops at the level cap | Repeat runs with a full group from our team |
| Other level 60 dungeons | Dungeon drops for the remaining slots | Runs matched to the slots left on your list |
| Blackmaw Hold | Level and loot not yet announced | Added to the list once Blizzard publishes them |
| Crafting | Crafted pieces for specific slots | Materials farmed and pieces crafted for your character |
Blizzard has not yet published the full dungeon loot tables for World of Warcraft: Forever, so this page does not list item names. Once they are official, your WoW Forever pre-raid BiS list names the exact item and the exact source for every slot before the first run.
If the character is still leveling, the climb comes first. Add the 1–60 leveling option to this order, or order it separately: WoW Forever powerleveling. If you prefer to reach 60 inside dungeons, see WoW Forever dungeon leveling.
Pre-Raid Gear, Then Raid BiS
Classic Plus pre-raid gear is the first step of WoW Forever gearing, not the last. Once the set is in place and the raids are open, the next target is raid loot: tier sets and the rest of the best-in-slot list from The Barrow Deeps, Hyjal Summit and Onyxia’s Lair. That is a separate order that runs across several raids and resets: WoW Forever BiS gear.
For raid runs on their own — full clears, single bosses, loot runs — see WoW Forever raid boost. The full gearing path, from the first dungeon run to the last raid slot, is laid out in our WoW Forever gearing boost section.
Ordering and Delivery
Piloted is the natural fit for a pre-raid farm. The work is a series of runs through the same dungeons, and your presence changes nothing. Our team plays the character on the agreed schedule and works down the list while you are away.
Self-play is the pre-raid gear carry option. You sit in the group for every run, see each drop land and loot it yourself, and the account never leaves your hands. The list, the priority and the finish line are the same in both formats.
The order closes when every slot on the agreed list holds its item, checked against your bags with you. If a piece has not dropped yet, the order stays open. Moving from the raid-ready set to full pre-raid BiS in the middle of the order is possible and is agreed as a new line. When you buy a Classic Plus pre-raid gear boost, you buy a finished slot list on your character, not a number of runs.
