Before We Start

  • A Season of Discovery character of level 10 or higher
  • An active game subscription

The SoD engineering boost levels your Engineering skill through the range you set, up to 300. At skill 200 the booster can take the Gnomish or Goblin specialization for you. A booster normally begins within an hour after payment.

Write your current skill, the target and, if you pass 200, your choice of Gnomish or Goblin in the order chat. A longer range means a bigger order; the thorium recipes near 300 are the most expensive stretch.

Bars, stone or parts already in your bank are used first if you mention them. The boost runs Piloted or by Remote Control.

What Is Engineering in SoD?

Engineering is the gadget profession of Season of Discovery. An engineer turns metal bars, stone and cloth into explosives, scopes, goggles, target dummies, jumper cables and trinkets that only engineers can use, such as mechanical dragonlings and battle chickens. Many of its strongest items are tools rather than stats: a grenade that stuns, a sapper charge that hits everything nearby, a net that roots an enemy.

That toolbox is why Engineering is a favorite of PvP players and of raiders who want extra damage from explosives. In battlegrounds and world PvP, a well-stocked engineer has answers that other classes simply lack.

Gnomish or Goblin: the Choice at 200

SpecializationStyleKnown for
Goblin EngineeringRaw explosive powerGoblin Sapper Charges, bombs, the Goblin Rocket Helmet
Gnomish EngineeringUtility and odd devicesGnomish Battle Chicken, Gnomish Cloaking Device, Gnomish Mind Control Cap

The specialization quest unlocks at skill 200. Tell the booster which path you want before the order reaches it. Training past 50 needs character level 10, and higher tiers need more levels; your character is checked first.

Engineering also has a reputation as the most expensive profession to level by hand, because many skill-up recipes produce parts that have little use afterward. The booster keeps the recipe route short, turns parts into explosives and devices you will actually use, and stops at the exact skill you ordered. Goggles and scopes made on the way can go straight onto your character or be sold to other players.

Buy Engineering With Mining

Almost every engineering recipe uses bars or stone, so Mining is the natural second profession. The SoD mining boost keeps the supply coming after the order closes. If you are deciding between the two metal crafts, the SoD blacksmithing boost is the armor-and-weapons option.

How Long the Engineering Carry Takes

The time depends on your range. Copper and bronze parts go quickly; mithril and thorium recipes make the last tier the longest. The highest-rated booster runs the order, keeps you posted in the order chat and closes with a screenshot of your skill. Every gathering and crafting order is listed on the SoD professions boost page.

FAQ

When can my engineering boost start?

Usually within an hour of payment. A booster is assigned in about 15 minutes and starts after the details are confirmed in the order chat.

Will you do the Gnomish or Goblin quest?

Yes. If your range passes 200, the booster completes the specialization you chose in the order chat.

Do I keep the gadgets crafted during leveling?

Yes. Explosives, parts and devices made while the skill climbs stay in your bags.

What makes the order bigger?

A wider range and the final stretch to 300, where thorium recipes need the most materials. Existing skill makes the order smaller.
