The SoD blacksmithing boost raises your Blacksmithing skill through the range you pick, up to 300. On the way, the booster can take the Armorsmith or Weaponsmith specialization at skill 200 for you. Work usually begins within an hour of checkout.

Write your current skill, your target and, if you are going past 200, the specialization you want in the order chat. The longer the range, the bigger the order; the last tier, 225 to 300, is the most expensive part because of the metal it burns.

Bars already in your bank can be used first, just mention them. The boost is played Piloted or by Remote Control.

What Is Blacksmithing in SoD?

Blacksmithing is the metalworking profession of Season of Discovery. A blacksmith hammers bars of copper, iron, mithril and thorium into mail and plate armor, one- and two-handed weapons, and small tools that every melee player buys: sharpening stones, weightstones and the skeleton keys that open lockboxes and locked doors.

The profession pays off most for warriors, paladins and shamans who wear what they craft, but any player who wants a steady supply of stones, or a famous high-end craft like the Arcanite Reaper, benefits from it.

What the Blacksmithing Boost Covers

  • Skill 1–150 — copper and bronze pieces, rough and coarse stones, first weapons.
  • Skill 150–225 — iron and steel gear, the specialization quest at 200.
  • Skill 225–300 — mithril and thorium crafts, dense stones and the high-end plans.

At 200, blacksmiths choose a path. Armorsmith focuses on heavy armor; Weaponsmith on weapons and, later, a mastery in hammers, axes or swords. Tell the booster which one you want before the order reaches that point.

Training past 50 needs character level 10, and higher tiers ask for more levels; the booster checks your character before starting.

Buy Blacksmithing With Mining

Every recipe in the profession needs bars, so blacksmiths almost always take Mining as their second profession. The SoD mining boost covers the ore side and keeps your forge supplied later. If you prefer gadgets to armor, the SoD engineering boost uses the same metal.

Leveling a smith by hand is slow for a simple reason: the most efficient skill-up recipes change every few points, and each one needs a different bar. A booster follows a fixed route through those recipes, turns the output into useful items where possible, and avoids burning expensive thorium on recipes that stopped giving skill points.

How Long the Blacksmithing Carry Takes

The time depends on your range. The first 150 points go fast; mithril and thorium recipes slow the last tier down. The highest-rated booster runs the order, updates you in the order chat and finishes with a screenshot of your skill. Other crafting and gathering orders are listed on the SoD professions boost page.

FAQ

When does my blacksmithing boost start?

Usually within an hour of payment. The booster is assigned in about 15 minutes and starts once the details are confirmed in the order chat.

Can you do the specialization quest?

Yes. If your range passes 200, the booster completes the Armorsmith or Weaponsmith quest, whichever you choose in the order chat.

How long does 1–300 take?

It depends on your starting skill and the metal needed. The 225–300 stretch takes the longest; you get an estimate once the range is set.

Do I keep what is crafted?

Yes. Armor, weapons, stones and keys made during leveling stay on your character.
