Before We Start

  • A Season of Discovery character with a free primary profession slot or Herbalism already learned
  • Level 35 or higher for the Artisan rank above 225

A WoW SoD Herbalism boost raises your gathering skill to the target you set, up to 300, the skill needed for Black Lotus. The booster runs herb routes on your character, trains each rank and keeps every herb in your bags. The work typically starts within the first hour.

Enter the skill your character has now and the skill you want. Longer ranges cost more, and the last stretch to 300 is the slowest because the top herbs grow in fewer, contested zones.

The boost is played Piloted or with Remote Control. If you also plan Alchemy, say so in the chat: the booster can favour routes with the herbs your recipes need.

What Is Herbalism in Season of Discovery?

Herbalism is a gathering profession: you pick herbs from nodes in the open world, shown on the minimap once the skill is learned. Each herb has a minimum skill, so Peacebloom and Silverleaf open at the start, while Dreamfoil, Mountain Silversage and Plaguebloom need a high skill and Black Lotus needs the full 300. In Season of Discovery the cap rose phase by phase and reached 300 at level 60.

The herbs are the raw material of Alchemy. Flasks, elixirs and protection potions for raids all start in a herb bag, which is why herbalists can supply their own consumables or sell the surplus. A WoW SoD herbalism boost gets you to the herbs that matter without the long walk through low-level zones.

Buy Herbalism in the Range You Need

Skill rangeTypical herbsRank
1–75Peacebloom, Silverleaf, EarthrootApprentice
75–150Briarthorn, Bruiseweed, Wild SteelbloomJourneyman
150–225Fadeleaf, Khadgar's Whisker, SungrassExpert
225–300Golden Sansam, Dreamfoil, Plaguebloom, Black LotusArtisan

Training for each rank is part of the order. The Artisan rank needs character level 35, so a lower character can only be boosted to 225 for now.

Herbalism Boost With Alchemy or Skinning

Herbalism pairs naturally with the Alchemy profession boost: the herbs from this order go straight into potions. Players who want gold rather than crafting often combine two gathering skills, for example herbs with the SoD Mining boost, and sell both to other players on their realm. The full list of professions is on the SoD professions hub.

Time, Start and Delivery of the Carry

Gathering professions move faster than crafting ones because no materials have to be bought, and every node picked also raises the skill. The early ranks pass quickly; 225 to 300 takes the most time, since the booster travels between high-level zones. Your order is assigned to the highest-rated booster, you can watch progress in the order chat, and a screenshot of the skill closes the order.

FAQ

When can the Herbalism boost start?

Usually within the first hour: the booster is assigned in about 15 minutes and begins once access is shared.

How long does Herbalism 1–300 take?

It depends on your starting skill and how busy the high-level zones are on your realm. The booster gives an estimate in the order chat.

Do I keep the herbs?

Yes. Every herb gathered on the route stays on your character, so you can sell it or use it for Alchemy.

What makes the order cost more?

A wider range costs more, and the 225–300 stretch is the most expensive part. Remote Control costs a little more than Piloted.
