A SoD BFD raid gear boost fills your level 25 character with loot from the Blackfathom Deeps raid. The team clears all 7 bosses as many times as needed for the items you want, and every drop for your class goes to you. The booster is usually assigned within 15 minutes, and the first run follows the team schedule.

Choose how much gear you need: a few target pieces, or a full set for your spec. More items mean more runs, so a full set costs more than two or three chosen slots.

The order is played Piloted or by Remote Control. Name your spec in the chat, so the team knows which drops count for you.

What Is the Blackfathom Deeps Raid in Season of Discovery?

Blackfathom Deeps was the first raid of Season of Discovery: the old Ashenvale dungeon rebuilt as a 10-player raid for level 25 characters. Seven bosses wait inside, from Ghamoo-ra and Lady Sarevess to Twilight Lord Kelris and Aku'mai at the end. Its loot was the strongest a level 25 character could wear, including set pieces and trinkets that many players kept long after the cap went up.

Because only 10 players share each run, a single item can take many resets to drop and then go to someone else. A SoD BFD raid gear boost removes that wait by sending you in with a team that hands your class its loot.

What the BFD Gear Carry Includes

The team runs Blackfathom Deeps on your character until the agreed items drop or the agreed number of runs is reached. Every boss is killed in each run, so you also pick up gold, cloth and materials from every pull. Loot that does not fit your spec goes to vendors unless you ask to keep it.
