Mount Hijal is focused on the druidic defense of the Nordrassil World Tree against the Cult of the Twilight Hammer and the forces of Ragnaros.

Vashj’ir

Neutral Vashj’ir is an underwater zone for level 80-82 players, located off the western coast of the Eastern Kingdoms. This zone is further divided into three major sub-zones: the Kelp’tar Forest, the Shimmering Expanse, and the Bottomless Depths. Heroes have to explore the mysterious depths of the Great Sea and prevent the Nagas from harnessing the destructive power of the forces that reside in Neptulon’s domain.

Deepholm

The Neutral Deepholm is a zone for level 82-83 players, located in the habitats of the earth elementals. Access to the Underground has been opened by returning to Deathwing’s world through the Maelstrom. Players would assist the Earth Servants in rebuilding the Pillar of Peace that was split by Deathwing. Initially hostile, you will later be aided by Terazan forces

Uldum

Neutral Uldum is a zone for level 83-84 players located in the southern part of Kalimdor. This zone was hidden for many millennia by the machine of the titans that was destroyed by a cataclysm. Now Al’Akir’s troops and the indigenous people of Uldum, Ramkahen, are fighting over a vast desert full of archaeological treasures.

Twilight Highlands

Neutral Twilight Highlands is a level 84-85 player zone located in Kaz-Modan in the Eastern Kingdoms. Alliance and Horde forces (Thunderhammer Dwarf Clan and Dragonmouth Oro clan respectively) fight over this area, and it is also one of the main bases of the Twilight Hammer cult.

Tol Barad

Neutral Tol Barad is a PvP zone for level 85 players near the shores of Lordaeron in the Eastern Kingdoms. This area is divided into two zones: a PvP zone in the manner of the Wintergrasp and the Tol Barad, a daily quest issuing center similar to the Isle of Kel’Danas. Both zones are separate from the world, and can only be accessed via portals or the battlefield search system.

Ahn’Qiraj: the Fallen Kingdom

Another area to be noted as a new zone is Neutral Ahn’Qiraj: the Fallen Kingdom is the location of a level 60 raid named Temple of Ahn’Qiraj and Ruins of Ahn’Qiraj. It is unclear whether this zone will be used as a continuation of the Silithus series of quests, or whether this zone is an area solely for flying. In addition, the Maelstrom will appear on the maps; the Dungeon with the Maelstrom, Kezan Island, and the Lost Isles will be highlighted on a separate map.

The Storm Peaks

Level Range: 82-84

Location: Towering above the South Sea in Uldum at coordinates [77, 84], Tornado Peak introduces a thrilling ascent through the Platform to Heaven. Brace yourself for airborne challenges and breathtaking vistas.

Halls of Stone

Level Range: 82-84

Location: Explore the majestic titan-themed Chambers of Creation within the eastern temple of Uldum at coordinates [72, 52]. Brann the Bronzebeard, a prominent figure, guides players through the challenges, unveiling the lore of the titans.

Grim Batol

Level: 85

Location: Perched on a mountain on the border of the Swamps and the Twilight Highlands at coordinates [19, 54], Grim Batol stands as an ancient dwarven city repurposed by Deathbringer. Unravel the dark secrets hidden within its depths.

The Cataclysm Classic expansion includes 3 Raids instances and 1 raid dungeon accessed by the victorious world battlefield faction (similar to the Vault of Archavon). There are 10 and 25 player modes available for each raid dungeon. After defeating the final boss, players can put each boss into heroic difficulty mode (similar to The IceCrown Citadel).
